1. Medicare rebate with a Mental Health Treatment Plan is $89.50 (July 2026) - out of pocket cost: $105.5
2. Victim Services Counselling: free service under the Victims of Crime Scheme
3. Private Insurance: Private health insurance rebates may be available for eligible clients with Extras cover. The rebate amount varies depending on your health fund and level of cover. Please contact your insurer to confirm your individual entitlement.
4. Private prices: $195 per a 50-minute session
Please note that additional charge applies for reports or longer sessions :
5. Professional reports, letters and additional consultation time: $60 per 20-minute increment. No charge for GP progress letters/reports.
Policies
Payment policy
Payment is required at the time of your appointment unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon. Sessions can be paid by cash, card, bank transfer, or other available payment methods as agreed.
If you are claiming Medicare rebate, you will be reimbursed with the rebate amount after paying the full price.
Bulk billing and Victim services clients cost is fully covered under the relevant schemes.
Cancellation Policy
At The Mind Boutique, I understand that you might need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please provide a 48 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellation fee of $100 may be charged if you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment. Cancelled appointments are not eligible for Medicare rebate.

Information shared during therapy sessions, including your personal circumstances, experiences, and treatment discussions, remains confidential. Your information will not be shared with anyone without your written consent, except in circumstances where there is a legal or ethical obligation to do so.
Limits to confidentiality
There are some situations where confidentiality may need to be breached to protect your safety or the safety of others. This may include:

Your personal information and clinical records are securely stored and managed in accordance with privacy requirements and professional obligations. Records are retained for the required period under relevant legislation and professional guidelines.

You have the right to request access to your personal information and discuss any questions or concerns regarding how your information is managed.
Consent to treatment
At The Mind Boutique, therapy is a collaborative process based on trust, respect and your individual needs. Before commencing therapy, we will discuss your concerns, goals and the therapeutic approaches that may best support you.
You have the right to make informed choices about your care, ask questions, provide feedback, and decide whether therapy feels right for you. Participation in therapy is voluntary, and you can pause or end therapy at any time.
Telehealth Policy
Phone therapy and online therapy sessions are available via a secure video platforms.
To ensure your safety, you are required to provide your current location at the beginning of each session. Please attend sessions from a private and suitable environment where confidentiality can be maintained.
In case of technical issues we will discuss the best way to continue or reschedule your session.
Communication Policy
To maintain a safe and professional therapeutic relationship, communication outside of scheduled sessions is limited to appointment-related matters, such as scheduling, cancellations, and administrative enquiries.
Email and phone communication are not intended for therapeutic support, urgent concerns, or crisis situations. If you require immediate assistance, please contact an appropriate emergency or crisis support service.
