
Meet Noemi

Noemi Papp is an accredited mental health social worker with a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. Noemi is a Medicare and Victims Services provider and a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Noemi has over ten years of experience working in community mental health teams and non-government organisations in both Sydney and Darwin. She has provided therapeutic support to individuals and families, offering comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based psychological interventions across a wide range of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, family conflict, emotional dysregulation, school refusal and behavioural challenges. Noemi currently works in both private practice and in public health.
Her special interests and clinical expertise include trauma, attachment-related difficulties, childhood development and adverse childhood experiences (ACE), mood disorders, life stressors (migration and other transitions) and relational difficulties. Noemi adopts a trauma-sensitive, person-centred, and collaborative approach, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and relaxed space to her clients. She is committed to supporting people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Noemi uses an integrative approach, adapting therapy to her client's needs, however, she has formal training multiple therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-anxiety, depression, eating disorder and PTSD), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Motivational Interviewing, Family Based Treatment for Anorexia and Confident Carers and Cooperative Kids program.
Committed to continuous professional development, Noemi engages in regular clinical supervision and ongoing training, including in somatic-based therapies and Integrative Systemic Therapy, ensuring her practice remains current, reflective, and responsive to client needs.
